Voluntary Contribution Appeal 2020
Annually, the P&C Association commits to raising funds to support our school and our students. The Voluntary Contribution Appeal, in conjunction with the government’s Textbook and Resource Allowance, supports the Library’s e-book and data access accounts ($40,000), Student Injury Insurance for all students ($9,500), student and staff awards ($9,000), disadvantaged students’ assistance ($5,000) and leasing costs for school mini-buses and a utility vehicle ($32,000).
Thank you to everyone who has generously provided a P&C contribution via the resource ordering process this year. For clarity, this was intended to be a Voluntary Contribution and the funds raised will go towards our student library resources. A school of this size requires funding over and above what the Queensland Government provides.
We are checking that you would like your contribution to support the school as planned. There is no need to reply or contact us unless there was confusion about your contribution and you would like a refund. Please send an email to enquiries@bshspandc.org.
